Central to our ethos is the empowerment of our team. In each country where we operate, we collaborate with local professionals who hold direct equity in these entities. Our strategy is straightforward: as our business expands, so too will the equity held by local stakeholders, ensuring the sustainability of our brand.
At Erudite, we proudly consider the African continent our home, establishing our business to foster the sustainable development of a truly African service provider. Our profound understanding and respect for the continent’s complexities enable us to anticipate and effectively manage project development risks.
We have successfully completed projects in Mali, Madagascar, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. Notably, in South Africa, Botswana, and Tanzania, we have registered local companies to support our clients with in-country projects.
Erudite Botswana
Our Botswana team is led by Mr. James Othapile, a registered professional engineer and alumnus of the University of Cape Town. Notably, 51% of the equity in Erudite Botswana is owned by Batswana nationals, reflecting our commitment to local empowerment. We are currently engaged in Copper and Potash projects within the country, with plans for both Coal and Diamond projects on the horizon.
Erudite Tanzania
Our partners in Tanzania consist of locally owned engineering firms with a proven track record in the mining industry. We wholeheartedly support the government’s strategy of empowering local companies over influential individuals, as this approach resonates deeply with our ethos and values.
The relationships we have established with these firms are mutually beneficial and are poised for exponential growth, building on the solid foundation laid by our partners.
